Charity That Began From Home, As Obodoukwu Indigenes Gift Indigent Members Food Items As Palliative In The Face of COVID 19 Lockdown
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the government to issue directives restricting movement within states and the country. This has put so many people who survive on daily income to fall into hard times as they are unable to fend for their families.

The leaders of Obodoukwu, a community in Ideato North L.G.A of Imo state, came together to form an intervention program committee specifically aimed at raising funds to purchase and distribute food items to the indigenes of this prestigious community.

All members of this committee worked together fervently with a single belief, “There is no power greater than that of a people united in common purpose”. Food items like rice, yam, indomie, garri, beans, etc were distributed to hundreds of families in Obodoukwu who all left with smiling faces, singing praises to the high heavens for such a noble act and showering blessings upon their benefactors.
