Nigerian dancehall star, Patoranking has taken a swipe at his colleagues who in the last few days have launched giveaway campaigns online over the Coronavirus pandemic. 

In a tweet he shared, Patoranking stated that Nigerian artistes should be contributing money to help those offline as they are the most disadvantaged people at this time. 

He tweeted; 

Instead Make we artist come together and contribute money to support people, Those once wey no Dey online Oo, Wey understand wetin giveaway mean ( people for slums and ghetto) wey Dey disadvantaged due to this Covid-19 Lockdown, una Dey here Dey talk about this Vs This, Wise up.

Patoranking also slammed a Twitter user who stated that entertainers must do giveaways online because "all work and no play makes Jack a fool".
